College Radio Promotions Launch
We are proud to announce the launch of our college radio promotions service under the Media division. On That Note Media’s radio promotion team will be headed by college radio guru Devon Stein. Having been employed by OTN since 2007, Devon brings years of experience to OTNM from both sides of the promotions world. He served as music director for two years at WMSR in Oxford, OH and later worked as a promotions representative at Mia Mind Music in New York City. The new service being offered is crucial for emerging artists with an album to promote. As part of this new promotions service, On That Note Media will coordinate campaigns on the local, regional, and national levels. Our staff of promoters will maintain regular communication and formulate relationships with music and program directors as well as track the progress of CDs over an eight-week campaign. Artists will receive detailed add and spin updates, as well as CMJ chart progress if applicable. These campaigns will allow artists to be heard on college stations across the country, lead to increased awareness of their music, and open the possibility of charting on CMJ, the primary source for exclusive charts of non-commercial and college radio airplay. Costs for this program will vary based on distribution level but will be competitive with the going rate in the industry. On That Note will handle the distribution to stations at the artists’ expense.
